Ok that site always seems to get the better of me, and the link you gave doesnt seem to work.

What do I search for, manufacturer, model number e.t.c.

Try this one:

Scroll down to Kenwood and enter khd for the model number.

Crud, the link works when I cut and paste, but it must use cookies or something.

Just go to www.pacparts.com and click on "consumer electronics" and then click on "search and order parts" then continue as a guest and on the next screen scroll down to Kenwood and enter khd as the model number.
Sorry about all the confusion.
