Blank Disc error

I am trying to use phatnoise media manager and I have made a burner project and when I go and try to burn the cd it says please insert blank disc. I have a disc in my burner where do I go from here?

see if you have ASPI layer installed properly, you can get it from adaptec.com OR you can download a trial copy of Nero and grab the file win32aspi.dll from them and put it in the phatnoise media manager folder where pmm.exe resides and see if that helps when you restart PMM.
