I currently have a "PhatNoise Car Audio System" on my 1999 m3. It is interfaced using the BlitzSafe converted through my existing CD changer wiring.

My question is... Currently I am not able to see a text display of what is playing through my factory BMW stereo deck. Are there any aftermarket decks that will allow me to see a text readout of what is playing?

Thank you

I was going to make an adapter for the Phatbox such that you would be able to see text and keep your BMW factory head unit.  However, since the Phatnoise Forums have closed, I don't know how easily I could market such a product.

I know of several dozen BMW owners who would buy such a product. Once you make the product I would be happy to tell people at BimmerForums, M3Forums, and BimmerFest

Ok I'll reconsider it... what do you think people would be willing to pay for such a product?

I would bet they would pay between $50-70 for the cable.

az1324:

I saw your post in the official Phatnoise forums and thought it was a good idea. I once had an aftermarket product idea for BMW cars and still have the marketing plan. Contact me via e-mail if you would like marketing assistance and/or additional input: frankie66@earthlink.net
