No headunit info in PMM, unable to update.

Hi Guys, i have been zapping around this site trying to find any info on my problem and apart from a post with similar probs it didn't furnish an answer.
In the past when Phatnoise was upand running i used to be able to go through the update headunit list for my Keg. Now it is just blank and obviously everytime you go to update it just is not possible.
Any fix for this that you guys know?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

you can use the hack tools to update the firmware -- phatnoise no longer has it posted

sbingner: Can you drop a perma-link feature in so that the words 'DMS Tools' and 'Hack Tools' are assigned to the appropriate topic?

Thanks for the reply. I know that it is no longer posted by phatnoise. I have the 13.01 firmware loaded but when i go through the wizard, when it comes to "choose a headunit" it then says no info loaded.
I realise that this is possibly superficial to my needs as long as the firmware is loaded. Then again years ago i remember that by picking your headunit it got the buttons right for viot etc.
Thanks again.

That's because it tries to pull that info from phatnoise, who no longer has it posted for it to pull form them. Therefore, no info is loaded.
VIOT would require installation of the VIOT plugin -- selecting the head unit in there serves no purpose

You would have selected the head unit / vehicle manufacturer to determine which firmware list to make available, of which only the latest would show up.

Yes i did this years ago with my original set up which has long been sold on.
I have another 910 now with a UK PSW9521 headunit, pretty much the same set up i had originally.
It all works fine, well it plays music. I dont do much else with it except change the disc or track.
I have genuine viot and AAC serials from my old set up but again i have no way of useing them, thank god for you guys with that little problem.
Thanks guys for your answers here, it's much appreciated.
