just bought a phatbox for my audi s4. installed the PMM 1.87 that it came with,but obviously its not up to date. cant load all my music onto it because some is mp4 and the PMM wont recognize it. where do i get up to date software? where can i find information about all the hacks in the download section like what each does,etc? thanks.

You can download the most recent PMM software at www.phatnoise.us.  You must register there to access the downloads.
