I have received a phatbox
I have also installed a cd changer cable as my 03 A6 had none....
I have an external changer which works when it's plugged into the cable (ie the h/u recognizes it)
when i plug in the PB...nothing happens. I've tried all the tricks to get it to work but nothing
any suggestions?

Is the PhatBox known to have worked in an Audi prior to you buying it?
Have you attempted to use the DMS tools to repair the DMS, or modify the firmware to be the Audi firmware?
