Hi, just registered and had a look around but I think I need something clarified.

I'm on the verge of buying the Volvo Digital Jukebox which as you prob already know is a rebranded Phatbox.  The only thing that bothers me is (having seen a video of it working on swedespeed.com) is the voice that announces which mode you've selected etc.  I guess you can change the voice that announces the actual playlist or album name etc (do you enter that phonetically on the Phatbox software), but can you change the "system" voice?

Thanks in advance.

Cool, thanks.  So is that a feature of the PB or would it be considered a hack?

either.  its a feature of announcing and you can generate files for it to announce. phatvoice is a tool that helps you genenrate better voice prompts for instance.. its a feature in my book.
