problems with phatnoise for Audi

My phatnoise has been in my car for the past 4 years and only until 2 years ago did it start acting up.
If I drive my car for longer than an hour, my phatnoise will get stuck and the only way I can fix it is to format the dms and start all over again...I must have done this over 40 times now.....can anyone help? is it the dms? or the actual phatnoise unit.
thx

Sounds like you might have an underlying problem with the DMS disk.
If your box is not hacked, now is the time to do it, and then you can think about replacing the disk.
