I have had problems with my DMS in my car where it kept crashing, so now I have reformatted it... now when I put it in my car it doesn't load, just stuck on the CDC 1    Track 1    00:00    screen... any ideas? ANY???  I just dont know anything else to try... Ive tried reformatting it again, still same... it wonr even let me try to change the CD menu to change the disk...

any ideas what so ever???

oh and the red light stays on permantly and the green light flashes every 5 seconds or so...Huh

After you reformatted the dms did you repartition it with pmm or the dms rescue disk?

I only reformatted the PHTDTA part of the drive, do I still need to partition it?

Just to clarify you did reload your music on the dms after you reformatted right? Also you need to download the dms rescue disk or the phathack cd to reformat the dms properly if I'm right.

As long as you only reformatted you're fine -- just make sure it's FAT32

You should probably reload the firmware too...

yeah I did load my music back on, lol, it keeps working occasionaly, but as soon as I turn off teh engine, or turn the player off, it stops working again, seems like it is having trouble loading up...

Consider reformatting both volumes and starting fresh. See what happens then.
