I have done a dms swap and have gone up to a 40 gb dms and everything is working just fine except that while putting files on the dms it still shows that it is a 10 gb dms. Is this anything to be concerned about?

There is a fuse on the inside of the cradle. Check that and also check your power supply.I thought mine died once and it was the power supply.

Well no such luck on the fuse. My cradle, which is usb 1.1, doesn't have a fuse. I took the cradle apart and there was no fuse to be found. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
