I have been trying to set up a recently purchased DMS (used) for my VW phatbox converted to a Kenwood keg. It's been a while since I have done anything hardware wise, so I haven't spent a lot of time following the form. (except for the last 2 days)

The DMS I am trying to setup has VW 7.02 on it, so I was trying to get Kenwood firmware on it. Using PhatHack DMS Tools 2.12, and then 2.14, I can't see any firmware available. The drop down dosen't offer anything. Is this no longer the way to do it?

It is the way to do it.

What Operating System are you trying to run the tools on?
Do you have any anti-spyware / firewalls that could be blocking access to the URLs the application uses to grab the firmware XML files from?

got it!

I run XP SP3. I thought I was up to date, but discovered not. I loaded Net framework 4 and now all is well.

Thanks
