If you are not watching the PhatHack Media Manager thread, then you may not know that I've been working on an application approach to replace the current hack scripts.

If you are interested, please take a look at this thread:

If there's anything you feel the current hack does not implement, but could be done easily please reply to that thread so I can consider it for adding it in before I unleash it.

I am not far away from giving it to people for initial testing.
