install SSA on phatbox switched to kenwood keg

hello, i have a VW phatbox switched in kenwood keg.
i saw (other post) that i can't create folders and subfolders, but that i could browse by artist and albums (what i wanted with folders so it would be fine) and not only with playlist with the SSA plugin (or do i need viot to organize by artist, albums...?)
is SSA plugin enough to browse by artist/albums?
i've been on the howto category, but  i don"t understand all and it seems that i need linux...
how can I simply install SSA plugiin on my phatbox/kenwood keg under windows XP?

VIOT is the kenwood SSA -- the way to enable SSA is outlined at http://wiki.phathack.com/VIOT

cool it works!!! thanks for all (but ssa is not optimised for touch screens, could be much better...for exemple, switch automaticly to album mode when artist is selectionned...)
just a few more questions, plugin is on dms, but is it into phatbox, if i erase dms, will i loose plugin?
another question, what does VIOT give that SSA don't provide?
and anyone has a SSA optimized?

The only difference with VIOT is that it includes AT&T Natural Voices for speech generation

plugin is on dms, but is it into phatbox, if i erase dms, will i loose plugin?

If you erase things manually from the DMS, chances are you will lose the plugin and you'll have to re-install it.

If you use PhatNoise Media/Music Manager the plugin shouldn't be touched.

I believe it'll also keep the plugin enabled until the phatbox is disconnected from power... but eventually if it's not on the DMS it will stop working

and do someboday have an idea for my post in "hardware section" about personalize/optimize SSA?
