Random Play

I have a VW Phatbox with a 160gb hd.  Is there a way I can play songs at random?  I know when I press the "Mix" button it will randomly play songs by the same artist.  Is there a way to make it play all songs randomly?

That should be all you need to know.  switch ssa modes and turn on random for that mode.

There appears to NOT be a mag random mode for the VW.

If you look at the .ini file tweaks there is one to force magazine random... you could give that a shot

VW magazine random play is one of the options you can select when you press chan. 6. Unfortunately it's after all the "Select radio type..." choices. Also, it gets reset every time you make a change to the DMS.

I just got done doing the hack to my Phatbox so I'll find out if "magazine random" is sticky or not. I suspect not... (sigh)
