Music Manager Cyclic Redundancy Error
« on: November 18, 2007, 07:06:23 pm »
Hey all,
I had a chance to load up the new hacked 160GB drive.  The drive doesn't work with Media Manager, so I'm using the older Music Manager 2.30.  Everything works normally until I try to save and eject the drive.  As Media Manager is copying the files over to the hacked DMS, after about 4-5 gigs or so, I get the error "Cannot Copy WhateverSong: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)."

So the copying ends and it ejects the DMS.  When re-insert the DMS and press "Save/Eject" again, the file that is named in the error (WhateverSong) copies over fine and the cycle repeats after 4-5 gigs again.

Anyone else encountering this?  Any solutions/work arounds?

Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, this seems to be a similar problem to the one described here:
