Hi guys,

I have a problem that started after running PhatVoice (just posted there:
http://forum.phathack.com/index.php/topic,1388.0.html).

While I was trying to recover from that, I looked (or rather, tried to look) at the backup files (.ddb, .dsb, .dtb) that I generated before I ran the hack. I remember  the manual mentioned that you could rename those to .zip and extract those files to place them where they came from. This didn't work for me.

I don't know that I need to get those back, but since my box is now essentially dead, I'm not sure what I'll need to do to get it back to life, so I wanted to see what I had for backup ....

Thanks so much.

Using the backup utility generates those files - I don't recall ever coding the hack itself to make the backups.

As mentioned in your other post, I don't believe the problem is down to the system files, more your playlist files.
