What is the maximum size hard drive I can upgrade my DMS currently.  I read in a previous thread the limit was for only up to 127 Gigs.  Do the new tools exceed this previous maximum?  I am currently buying a phatbox with 20Gigs and want to replace the drive soon with as large a drive as possible with the current hack.

Thanks  :)

There is no limit to the size of drive you can use with the DMS tools.
At present the last tested drive stands at 250GB only because no-one has tried anything bigger.

When buying a drive the recommendation is stick to 5400RPM drives.

I'd also wait for v2.12 of the tools (not far off now) to save wasting space, as 2.10 is wasting a bit of space on new DMS'.

Not in any rush, but when do you think 2.12 will be available?  I am planning to update my box soon, but if it's only a few weeks away I'll just wait for 2.12.

As far as I know there's one outstanding issue that I need to get ironed out - but this is a single user with usability issues with PMM / PartitionMagic and may not actually be a problem at all.

I'm hoping by the end of next week at the latest providing something new doesn't crop up!

Eagerly awaiting  ;D

By 'a bit of space' he means like 1mb or something equally insignificant.... you don't really need to wait ;)
