DMS Firmware change from Keg to Audi
« on: April 07, 2008, 08:19:39 pm »
Im just about to change my car to a 2005 A4 and want to keep the phatnoise system.   I have a kenwood music keg which in intend to sell and use to buy the audi system.  However   i have a 120GB DMS.

How do i change the firmware on the DMS for the Audi System? Phatnoise media manger doesnt seem to want me to do it?

anyone got any ideas.

You cannot do it in Phatnoise Media Manager, because the servers from which it was intended to download the firmware files do not work anymore.

The easiest way to change the firmware is to use VorTechs' Windows DMS Hack Tools (not just for hacking anymore).  See the thread and download the tools here:  http://forum.phathack.com/index.php/topic,1291.0.html
