250 Gig WD25000BEVE-0 Hard Disc Problems

OK Here goes... I have just bought 2 Wester Digital hard drives, one for my lap top and 1 for my DMS. I changed the original and working 10 gig drive for one of the WD drives. I ran the DMS 2.12 tools and created a new DMS adding the VW firmware and AAC plugin. The disk has 2 partitions, oth FAT 32 1 is Phatsys = 62.9mb and the other Phtdta = 232gig.
Once the DMS is re inserted into my USB 2.0 cradle PhatNoise 3.92 MM starts. I can see my music and the DMS. I create a new playlist and put on some files (AAC files). Then an error pops up and my 232 gig DMS reverts back to a 93gig DMS. Then PHatNois MM quits on mme. I re start PhatNois MM and I get the following.... "Searching for DMS drives" then the following error "An error occured while accessing G:\CurrentSetup.xml".
I now can't see the DMS in PMM at all. I then try to repair (full) DMS using DMS tools, again installing VW firmware and AAC pligin, I get the following error Repair failed, Check Log for more. The same happens if I try to Create New DMS?

Is it possible to use the WD 250Gig Hard Drive in the DMS? Any Ideas on my next step.

P.S. The USB 2.0 cradle is showing as USB Mass Storage Device in device manager, is this correct?

The 250GB drives will not work with Phatnoise Media Manager.  They only work with Phathack Media Manager, or to some degree with the older Phatnoise Music Manager. 

The issue is well documented (again, please use the search feature on this forum), but so far the exact cause and cure have not been found.

As for the log issues, can you mail me the logs in My Documents\PhatHack Media Manager\Logs so I can take a look please?

I know I have 3 forresst worth of paper here on the 250gig drive sinario! So what is the best drive for the DMS then?

Very happy with my Seagate Momentus 160 gig drive... and for me it's working with Phatnoise Media Manager 3.92.
