Just fitted my pb and now its working fine is it worth hacking the box now and is it straight forward read plenty of posts but undecided
what are the pro's and con's

thanks in advance

Pros:
Allows owner to replace stock 10 or 20GB DMS with any 2.5" IDE drive, currently up to 320GB (otherwise, when the original drive eventually fails the owner will have to buy a new original DMS for a hefty price)

Cons:
None

is it straight forward to do once the pb is hacked will it still play the original and is it easy to make a new dms from a non original

thanks

It will still allow you to use the original DMS, and the DMS tools are easy and straight forward to use for both creating a new DMS and running the hack.
Should there be any problems, there's plenty of experienced people here to help look into, and get you up and running again - but that's a very rare occurance.
