help...am i screwed?
« on: September 19, 2005, 01:07:58 am »
i recently got a kenwood 910 music keg ... the only problem was that the cartridge had no hard drive in it !!!

so i've gone through the hack over and over again but it seems like to install the hacked firmware, i need a working DMS. Cause when i put the DMS in the Keg, the red light goes on and green keeps blinking and the deck doesn't show any playlists and no log is created.

do i need a working dms to hack the firmware or can i do it with my new hard drive in the DMS?
or is it possible if i get the drive-sig-1mb.bin file and DD it on the DMS or that won't work?

Yeah, if you look around ( http://wiki.phathack.com/Script_to_run_firmware_patch ) or do a serach, it's mentioned all over the place that you must have a working DMS.

I can send you a working dms to do the hack. All you have to do is send it back to me. You can send me a deposit via paypal and after you run the hack and send it back I will refund the deposit.
