DMS doesnt work after installing new HDD

Hi m8´s,

I got serious problems to get my Kenwood Music Keg DMS working again.  :-/ Below is what has been done sofar:
Installed new hdd, created primary PHTSYS partition 300mb, created extended logical PHTDTA partition remaining of 40GB,
formated the whole thing with the DMS boot CD, checked positively by DMS doctor, put on just one song to test it
with Phat Music Manager.
When I put the DMS in the car slot both lights red/green starting flashing rapidly and won´t stop.
My head unit KVT-920DVD (american model KVT-910DVD) just showing AUX device, all other like radio, dvd, tv
doesn´t work at all.
Anyone can help me to get my installed 2000Watt system making noise again?

You'll get more replies to this issue if you post it in the proper section, which should be under "DMS Hacks."

But from what you've written it seems like you haven't followed the instructions for building a new DMS.  You have to first use your original DMS to patch your keg.  Suggest you follow the instructions here:  http://forum.phathack.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1122424315

Hi,
I just spotted that I didn´t read carefully the instructions. Sorry for that.
I finished process right now and try start my audio system in 5 minutes.
Will come back later with some more news.

Hi markbowen and all others,

have still problems with my Keg, it seems to be the same issue than you
had under "Help please - Patching Music Keg not working "
When I put the old DMS into the Keg, nothin happens.
My head unit just says "loading" for a while and then "eject".
It doesn´t seem to flash the Keg.
I will now try the last thing that you did and wait for whats happening, come back later.

Hi again,
what I did last is that I manualy copied the latest firmware  files to PHTSYS,
deleted forceupdate, ran the hack cd again, put the dms in the keg which ran
nicely (couldn´t see any patch process)
proceeded with hack cd with new hdd in dms, copied some songs on it with
phatnoise music manager and tomorrow morning I will check if it works.
I will reply again.

damn, it won´t work, still "disc loading" and then "eject" on my HU.
The old DMS is working fine. It doesn´t seem to flash the Keg
when inserted. What´s wrong? Anyone can help?
