Patching the home player?

I've successfully patched my porsche phatbox and now have a 100gb cartridge I can use. Many thanks to everyone who worked on the hack disk!

I also have the home player. Has anyone tried to patch a home player using the dms hack disk? Is there any chance this would work?

I am going to be buying a home player off of a forum user and I'll give it a shot, but I doubt it will work without some changes.
