Possible to use an Audi Phatbox in a VW?

I cant seem to find any VW ones. I called some place up and they said they only had the Audi ones. I have searched, but havent quite found the answer to what I need. I also went on the IRC channel, and no one answered.

My question is:

How can I get that Audi unit to work on a vw? Is it simple? is it possible?

I am assuming get the audi unit, get the vw firmware, and get a vw cable? Is that it? Is all of that relatively simple to do?

its dead simple, just like you mentioned.. have the right cable and the right firmware on the drive and it should work fine.
