I have a Blaupunkt New York RDM 172 headunit. CD changer connector is 8 pole DIN and it doesn't have standard VW hu pinout.
On HU there's a schematics of PIN layout, but I dont understand PIN description- in other words I don't konow how to connect HU pins to VW Phatbox pins.
Phatbox Pins are named:
-SRX-Data to HU
-SCLK - Data Clock to HU
-Ground
-PW TX -Data to Changer
-Power 12V
-ACC 12V
-Audio Ground
-Audio L
-Audio R
That means there are 9 pins on Phatbox to be connected somewhere.
How to connect them to my HU 8 pole DIN plug with contacts labelled as:
-Info In - is this SRX or SCLK?
-Info Gnd -
-Digi - Is this PW TX?
-Digi Gnd -???
-Up+ (or Uo+) -
-+ (a plus sign) - should i connect it to ACC12V or Power 12V?
and CanL and CanR - this aro obviously Left and Right audio channels.
I'm completely confused.
