It was a group effort to make everything that went into the process.  Many of the people who were involved don't come to the site much anymore.  Bushing, Sbingner, RobM and myself did the lion share of the work to bring what we have today together.  There were a few other peopel involved, like the guy who found the plsign trick that got us to where we could run our own scripts / code on the box that led to the hack program that Sam and Bushing did most of the work on.  Rob and I did the Hack CD and its scripts on the DMS.  I did the documentation for it, although the screenshots are not 100 percent uptodate since the last releases of the CD I put out.

Also, credit should go to Paul who setup this site which along with IRC helped us pull together to make this happen.

I more than likely forgot someone, and I am sorry if I did, its just those names stick out in my mind.

Wow now that I think about it.. I think the first hack CD came out in Late July last year.  holy crap it has been a year now! :)

Yeah I know, its been about a year. I've really cut down my time here a lot since I got my bigger hard drive in. I'll be looking for some answers since I forgot a lot of the stuff. I'm going to get the 160gb hard drive here very soon and I know I'll need some information on what do do again.

I stop by from time to time. Not much to change now except getting the cradles to work in xp64 I have been messing with that lately. I guess I am going to have to break down and buy a usb2 cradle.

The cradle worked for me it was PMM that didn't work if I remember correctly.   I can plug it again later to check.

My cradle doesn't work usb 1,
PMM 2.3 No go I got it working used regedit changed the reboot key to 1, The cddb lookup doesn't seem to connect to the internet though
PMM 3.76 seems to work fine I can use an 3.5 to 2.5 ide adaptor ( had to right click the install file to use xp compatiblity mode)
PMM 3.92 Program works but when you try to load a dms it doesn't seem to work I keep getting a Drive Id error even with the original "unhacked" drive. I don't know if its a xp64 or ide adaptor thing?

Yeah, it has been a while, hasn't it?  I got frustrated with my DMS constantly corrupting itself, but maybe it's time to look into that again.

I couldn't get PMM to work under XP64 at all  similar issues.. it installed but wouldnt talk to the DMS right.

Hey Bushing!  I don't have issues with DMS corruption, its likely something small and simple.  do you still have any extra logging going on or any scripts running?  I've had issues with it not closing files properly when powering down creating issues where chkdsk has to be run.

(i just found an issue where I cant get DMS random to stay on after loading a bunch of new files over the weekend.. need to look into that this weekend)
