Oh well... I should have known it was too good to be true... The strange clicking reported after the installation of my phatbox that dissappeared of its own accord has reappeared after a period of several weeks absence
So this evening I have been playing about...
The clicking comes from the speakers.
It is not present when the CD or radio are on.
I checked the ground cable and there is a connection between the radio and it (using multimeter)
I added an extra earth cable to the radio chasis... no change
I lay the phat box minus bracket on the boot mat... no change
I added a earth cable from the phatbox to the chasis in the boot... no change
Went through the connector pins and all looks ok
no kinks in the cable..
Oh.. nothing I do in the car in relation to engine on off, electrical systems makes any difference.
so now I am at a total loss and very depressed
Anyone got any more ideas I can try?
