Windows Vista
« on: December 12, 2006, 10:21:37 pm »
I am running Windows Vista (RTM) x64.  When I go to save and eject my DMS from PMM 3.92 I get the message on new playlists that I've added that it cannot generate voice prompts ("cannot assign stream format").  I have tried to install PhatNoise's CAS Text to Speech but that didn't work.  I don't think it's a x64 OS issue since I installed PMM 3.92 (in XP compatibility mode) on XP Professional x64 and the voice prompts worked fine.  Does anyone have any ideas?  Which files should I search for?  If I find them maybe its a matter of moving the files to the regular System32 directory.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am running Vista Ultimate on x86 and have had no problems.  I installed the old, old version of PMM that came with my keg software.  At that time it couldn't install the AT&T voices.  This wasn't a big deal as I had purchased the nicer ones (they are worth it).  I installed the new AT&T voices, PMM 3.92 and that was it.  I had to assign admin priveleges to the PMM .exe file but I've been cruising along since (had to give Yamp admin priveleges as well).
