Title: Max size HD using PhatHack DMS tool 2.10
Post by: snarbles on May 09, 2008, 09:35:40 pm: What is the maximum size hard drive I can upgrade my DMS currently. I read in a previous thread the limit was for only up to 127 Gigs. Do the new tools exceed this previous maximum? I am currently buying a phatbox with 20Gigs and want to replace the drive soon with as large a drive as possible with the current hack.

At present the last tested drive stands at 250GB only because no-one has tried anything bigger.

When buying a drive the recommendation is stick to 5400RPM drives.

I'd also wait for v2.12 of the tools (not far off now) to save wasting space, as 2.10 is wasting a bit of space on new DMS'.

I'm hoping by the end of next week at the latest providing something new doesn't crop up!
