changing the Album section to be track name, so that you can search through the names of tracks instead of album name? (in the car)

For any decent sized, album based collection. This would be a living nightmare. I know it would be for me at least. But, I suppose someone with a bunch of collected singles from the napster years might find this usefull.

So...why not copy your entire collection to a temp location. Then use media monkey or some other whiz-bang tagger to move track data to album field.

Then wipe the dms, and point PMM to the duped & re-aligned data?

I use ID3-TagIT from http://www.id3-tagit.de/ to bulk edit my tracks.
