Hi Guys
I have just got an audi a4 and intended to sell my kenwood keg and replace it with a audi one, but from what i am reading people are using the kenwood keg in the audi.
is it as simple as changing to the audi cable and firmware? or do i have to make a bridge cable?

Yes, it should be as simple as changing from a Kenwood cable to an Audi cable (and I believe the Audi cables are relatively easy to find) and changing the firmware on the Keg to Audi. Search "Audi" in the forums and you can probably find plenty of examples.

I've got the Audi Dealer sticking one in the car for me, so hope it works.

Okay
So I now know all I have to do to my kenwood keg to get it to play on my Audi Concert 2 radio is use the correct cable and firmware, but am I going to loose any functions of my Kenwood keg, Basically would i be better buying the Audi Phatbox
On the Kenwood keg i have the voice prompt and ssa. is there anything i should be aware of?
I dont think the Concert 2 Audi HU supports CD text, so i really want the voice prompts to stay.
What does the Audi to Audi phatbox do and what will the Audi to Keg do? differently Anyone know
Do i need to use the Hacked firmware on the keg to get it to take Audi firmware?

You get the same functions you'll get from an Audi phatbox.
There are no significant differences on the hardware level.
