I have a Music Keg installed in my 2001 Audi TT on the Concert I factory stereo. It was working fine until I decided to upgrade from firmware 4.02 to 7.02. I followed the instructions on the Phatnoise site, but when the update was done and I turned the stereo on again nothing happenned, it just sits at "CD1 LOAD" forever, and there are no lights on on the music keg.
I decided to downgrade the firmware back to 4.02 using the archived files I downloaded from downloads.phathack.com, it seemed like it would work, but when it was done I got a "NO CD" message on the display.
Any ideas where to go from here would be great.

Did you disconnect it from power and reconnect it to power to force the downgrade? If it totally didn't see your HU it may not be getting to the point where it attempt the firmware downgrade
