...I'm generating an announcement that gets inserted into the playlist that will be used to run the hack.
I have gotten it so far... but I'm sure there are people out there that have far more experience in TTS than I do so if you have a spare few minutes could anyone take a copy of the text below and see if they can modify it to generate a better sounding announcement?
Thank you for installing the Kenwood Keg and fat box hack tools by fat hack dot com<silence msec="500"/> When this announcement ends <silence msec="100"/> your box will attempt to apply the patch<silence msec="1000"/> You may find that your box ree boots several times during this process <silence msec="100"/> and that your head unit switches to an alternative audio source<silence msec="2000"/>Please switch the audio source back to the box if this happens <silence msec="100"/> and repeat every time<silence msec="2000"/> When the hack is complete<silence msec="100"/> you will hear an appropriate announcement<silence msec="100"/> and your existing music will begin playing<silence msec="2000"/>The hack is now about to run
This is what it sounds like as is:

Thank you!
Sounds pretty good to me; not perfect, but a lot better than many other TTS.
Great work, thanks for all the effort.
All the best.

Remember, when it boots back up after a reboot it should try to play the same track again (patch track)... or if it thinks that track was messed up it may skip to the next track...
