hi , well would like to say thanks for any help i can get on this.
I have a phatnoise, in my audi a4 2001, connect to a concert tape head unit, my dms cart is at firmwear ver 5.01, however, when i run the dms doc it fails saying nothing in e:\ drive, and when in the car and have albums selected, i get loads of the same one, also some albums allow me to skip tracks some will not, i have had a look , on the site but at a loss here ???????

DMS Doctor is not a reliable tool for checking the health of your DMS. It's telling you no DMS is connected? Can you see the DMS in My Computer? Can you transfer music?
As for the issue in your car, you need to update the firmware to the latest version, which is 7.02.
