So I put a new 32gb Trascend solid state drive in a friends DMS cartridge.
Used DMS tools and it created it fine.
When i plug the drive in Phat noise Media Manager Automatically pops open and loads then I get these two errors.
Cannot copy 1: cannot find the specified file.
Make sure you specify the correct path and file name.
Couldn't save the SQL DB back to the DMS
Please clear the disk space on the DMS and try again
So I tried rebooting and then just opening Phat noise Media Manager then inserting my DMS cartridge I get the following error
An unknown error occured while accessing L:\CurrentSetup.xml
FYI I'm using VW firmware version 7.02
SSDs don't work right for some reason... that doesn't look like your problem originates from that issue, but I don't expect it will work right for you even if you get that issue figured out.
Check your volume labels though if you want to keep trying that...
If the DMS tools created it fine, then assuming there are no issues with the PhatBox reading the drive - try using PhatHack Media Manager to see if it has any problems reading/writing to it.
It's my own program, and uses exactly the same techniques as the tools for writing the data files... and uses a more recent version of SQLite as a database back end. I don't know if this will, or won't be an issue though.
You are more than welcome to try. http://www.phathackmm.com
