Title: How much "better" is the Kenwood Excelon
Post by: snoggle on October 20, 2005, 05:20:47 AM
Other than having VIOT and RCA jacks, and a 20 gig DMS, is there anything else better about the Excelon keg than a Kenwood 710 keg?

I had a 710 keg that I connected and played for a few minutes, and my perception was that my Excelon keg sounds better. Am I imagining that it is better, or is it superior electronically?

Hmm, my non-excelon kenwood keg has RCA jacks.

I think you are right about the 710 having RCA jacks. I only had one for a few days before returning it, and I think my memory of it is not perfect.

The 710 circuit board pictures on this site show that it has RCA jacks.

Can you buy VIOT for the 710 (non Excelon) keg?

VIOT is for any Kenwood Keg. I use it on a 710.
