Title: Does music keg work with Kenwood's current HU's?
Post by: gt3 on February 20, 2006, 09:18:58 AM
I am interested in upgrading to a new Kenwood Headunit (e.g. DDX-7017).  Since Kenwood stopped making music kegs, does anyone know whether Kenwood's current line of headunits still support the keg.  Thanks!!!

I just installed a KDC-X789, and my Phatbox works just fine. I don't think this will be a problem until/unless they change their interface, and I don't see that happening in the near future. The current interface has proven to be very flexible and has weathered numerous new product introductions (Sirius, Phatbox, HD Radio).
