Is there a way to convert a VW phatbox to work in an Infiniti? Phatnoise no longer makes one for Nissan/Infiniti and I can't find one anywhere for my G35.

I think the internal HW is the same for the Infinity and the VW phatbox. Do you have a picture of the connector in the infinity that would connect to the phatbox ? You might have to get a cable from Infinity.
I managed to convert a VW phatbox to work in my Mazda3, I am sure it would work in your car as well.
You need:
- Proper cable to connect VW phatbox to Infinity Stereo
- Phatbox Infinity firmware (Available from http://downloads.phathack.com/firmware/)

I don't have a picture of the Infiniti connection but I can get one. You were able to get the cable from Mazda? Did it need to be modified to connect to the phatbox or did it plug right in?
I got the cable directly from Mazda, It plugs directly into the OEM stereo and then directly into the VW phatbox.
Post an image of the connector in you Infinity, I will be able to tell you if it is the same as the connector on the VW phatbox.
