Title: Voice Prompt starts too late
Post by: puderbaer on July 19, 2006, 05:27:52 pm
Hi,

I own a new Phatnoise system for my VW RNS-S2 Radio. Music playing works fine but the voice prompt starts too late. I.e. I have a disc called "Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication" but all I hear is "Peppers - Californication". If the title is very short I hear no voice prompt at all, the music just starts playing.
In the Feature Mode I entered Radio Type M for the RNS S2.

Someone have an idea what to do?

Thank you in advance,

Axel

I believe that is a problem with your Head Unit muting the beginning of the tracks.   I think somebody posted how to put a delay in your phatbox.ini file to make it not start playing for one second.

http://phatbox.sixpak.org/phatbox/audioid.phtml should have enough info that you can figure out how to do it
