Hello,

I have Toyota Matrix 2006, i have Mazda 3 2006 with VW Phatnoise where VW firmware was replaced with Mazda and bought MAzda cable and everything works fine, but i am curious, is it possible to replace VW Firmware with Toyota to be able to use it on MAtrix? if so, than where would i be able to purchase a cable? is it the same cable that CD changer uses? I have build in 6 CD changer, will i have to disconnect it to use VW Phatnoise if it works? thanks

Hi,

Could you please give details how you connected the VW phatbox to the Mazda 3. My wife has a Mazda 5 and I have an extra VW Phatbox.
Is it as simple as downloading the Mazda firmware and upgranding it ??? Is there a CD changer cable in the Mazda trunk (like VWs) or something?
