You can use the tools to re-create the partition, but you'll have to re-load the DMS contents if you don't have a backup of PHTDTA.

I have a new (to me) DMS. I do not have PHTDTA partition, only the PHTSYS shows.
Via "Device Manager", my DMS cartridge, I only see the PHTSYS partition. NO PHTDTA. It's like it's not there.
The DMS is not recognized by the Music Manager or Phatbox player.
Help please.

Phatnoise Media Manager / Where to get Phathack MM?

Now I'll see if I can get this to work! I don't have a USB cradle. Does anyone know if serial cradle works with an adapter to USB?

I have been trying to find a working copy of Phathack MM that would work on Windows 10. I did find a site but the download doesn't work. I would really like to to update my tunes. :-) Attempts to get MM working have failed. Thanks for any help.

Before it was towed to the junkyard, I removed the Phatnoise unit that gave me many miles of listening pleasure.
The complete kit is for sale, currently listed on EBay:
