Digital output SPDIF
« on: November 30, 2006, 05:28:15 pm »
Hello all,

I just got a digital coax out done on my Keg, this particular one has SPDIF to digital coax but I bet that there most of you that want toslink as well. The installation procedure is not much different

The work was done by Stuart at www.eutronix.com and he can either sell you a kit and instructions on how to do it or install it for you.

I plan on using mine with an Eclipse cd8053 since it has DSP and a digital volume control. I just might be able to get my Eclipse to talk straight to the keg with a Soundgate KNTOY1. Eclipse and Toyota head units use the same bus, it is just a rearrangement of the wires.

Anyways, here it is.

Well, and is it possible with Music Keg cx910? It uses another DAC. Could You post additional photos with another ends of wires from DAC?

You might have to email eutronix. I would think that the solder job would be much easier since the 910 D/A has bigger pins to and the chip to work with. I do not have expertise in this though. I quite sure it is possible though.
