Hope people are still reading this.. trying to run Hack wizard, box not updating

Ive tried searching but i just dont want to start deleting files at random on my still functional but bad sector ridden DMS cartridge.

I am trying to simply put a 40gig drive in, and nothing I do works.

Im using the 2.12 wizard, and attempted to install the patch with it.

I insert the DMS cartridge, and it plays a little announcement telling me that its about to apply the patch.

And then it goes off to my regular music (one album currently on the DMS).

 I have no idea what im doing here.

i tried creating a new DMS cartridge with my new HDD and it just does not work. I put it in the catridge, i get three slow flashes, and then it starts rapidly blinking.

Ive tried with the wizard, ive tried copying the old DMS files over to the new. nothing.

I can't help you with the wizard, but if you are desperate you should check out ebay

stupidly enough. it suddenly decided to patch on the second attempt.

Did exactly what it did the first time i tried it, but this time the wizard reported success, and sure enough my 40gig drive fired right up and started playing Johnny Cash.


On a second topic, my phatnoise has a new bug.

It plays Johnny Cash.
