Problem Encoding CD's on new PC.
« on: May 12, 2009, 02:34:35 pm »
I got a new PC (Vista) and installed the Music Manager software on it (1.87) but it gives me an error when I try to encode and CD's. It sees the CD in the drive and successfully goes out to Gracenotes and lists the CD information correctly, but when I try to Encode it I get "Error Detecting CD Rom Drives for ripping/encoding". Do I need a newer version of software? If so where can I get it?   ???

The latest version of Media Manager is likely to be your only, and best bet for testing the encoding issue.
But I wouldn't guarantee it will solve your problem.  It should live side by side with Music Manager, although I've never tried this.

You can get the activation free version from PhatNoise.us
