Phatnoise Home Player(s)
« on: January 13, 2006, 02:25:14 am »
I have somehow ended up with two of these home players, both new units from Phatnoise.  One works perfectly, the other has a little glitch sometimes with not recognizing the select wheel being turned (but works fine with the remote).  Anyone interested?  I haven't taken my DMS out of my car in ages, and I ended up buying a squeezebox for my home audio needs (decided to stream from the PC rather than playing from the DMS).

No reasonable offer will be refused.  Help me reclaim my credenza.

Sorry but I am in the UK and I think the power supply will be different?

power supply is fairly standard.  There is an external switching power supply that takes input of 100V to 240V via a three-prong plug like on the back of a PC, and sends output of 12V/2.5A.  Should be a fairly standard plug to make it work in UK.

This is just to let you all know I received the Phatnoise Home Player from mkosma and it's working great.  It was shipped carefully and received quickly.  Quite a steal too I might add!

glad to hear it!  And glad that it's found a good home.  I cannot bear to be without the DMS in my car, so I rarely brought it into the office to plug into the home player, for fear that I'd forget and leave work without it.
