Cradle Detection in Windows7
« on: October 05, 2009, 09:31:20 am »
Hi all, last weekend I installed win7 and I 'm happy that I made a dual boot configuration with XP because Win7 takes a loooooong time to detect the DMS. Loooong is ten (10) minutes....
It is a USB 2.0 cradle with a Seagate 160Gb inside (ST9160821A) and I use Phatnoise Music Manager 2.36 wich workes always fine in XP. The other actions about the DMS in Phatnoise Music Manager 2.36 take also a long time to start.
I did read already a few other detection issues about win7 in this forum but 'till now I see no clear solution for that. Maybe there are others with the same experience.

Maybe I wasn't clear in my letter but is there anybody that have the same experience and.. a solution for this strange behaviour?
