Info on progpld/8051

I've been looking at progpld...  I found one thing that could be useful.   It appears that it sends the contents of blank.bif or prog.bif to the 8051 via PortA (GPIO1)... now if only we understood what was IN blank.bif or prog.bif it could be useful
