Anyone in New York that was able succesfully hack their Audi or VW phatbox

Please help. My original DMS is dead and can't seem to get the new one working.

Sorry - wrong country...   :-[

More usefully - was the Phatbox hacked with the old DMS before it died?  And are you certain that the old DMS is really dead?  Is there any life in the DMS when plugged into the cradle for example?

i had no luck getting my new one to work when original DMS was still alive. I tried half dozen times and had no luck, 6 month later my original drive died completely. I think my phatbox should be patched but no matter what i tried it wouldn't recognize my new drive.
