Moved some folders on the DMS via Windows Explorer...
« on: March 06, 2007, 01:54:24 am »
Now, Music Manager 2.30 won't recognize the songs that were in those folders. (They are italicized in red.) Is there a way to get it to search for the songs, and have it add them back?

Should I move them onto my hard drive, and have it add it to a playlist, then move it back to the DMS that way? I'd rather only do that as a last resort. One would think the siftware would be able to find them on the DMS when choosing "Repair".

Thanks.

You can move them back to where they were... or I think there may be an option in repair database, but I don't think it'll really fix it completely.  In general, it doesn't like it when you mess with its file structure

Thanks.

Since I don't remember where they were, I think I'll just move the folders to my hard drive using Explorer, and add the songs to the DMS discs via Music Manager. (or, Media Manager, if I install that instead.)
