Thanks for this awesome forum to support this incredible device!
I bought a new oem vw phatbox off ebay and it's working great I have the latest version of PMM and am having no issues with the box...
but, I do have a question:
I have updated the firmware from the PMM software and when I put the DMS in the Phatbox it looks like it is updating( the green light flashes for several minutes) and I start it up and it works, but when I go to the settings menu (from my cd player) and select #3 "about this firmware" it tells me that the current firmware version is 3.something. but when I look at my DMS in PMM it tells me it is version 7.something.
As I said before, everything works, but it is confusing me.
Also, if my firmware really isn't updating, are there features I'm missing out on?
Most of my files are .ogg, and I couldn't load them until I got the Phatnoise Media Manager, but everything else seems to work.
Any ideas?
